Billy Pangert passed away peacefully at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife Margaret, sister Linda, sons, Ben, Tim, and Andy, and six grandchildren.
He was born in Queens, grew up in Woodcliff Lake, and resided in Upper Saddle River for 40 years. Proud member of the Triboro Ambulance Corps, the Woodcliff Lake Fire Department, and Knights of Columbus, and Eucharistic Minister at Church of the Presentation...
Everyone who knew above-ground-Bill remembers great stories. He was absolutely grateful for a lifetime of friends that created memories that can never be replicated because they threw away the mold.
He was passionate about his family, lifeguarding at The Old Mill, a tractor and gun lover, amateur snow removal expert; all the Daisies, Christmastime, his playlist, baseball back when it was good, and Donald Trump. He couldn't wait to sell ice to the Eskimos!Services.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home; a funeral mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Presentation at 10am on Friday, January 19, followed by interment at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
Rest In Peace.
